Happy Easter 2013

Hallelujah, He Is Risen!

As many of us went through lent process from Palm Sunday, ash Wednesday to fasting on Friday for these holy weeks.  Here we are just a couple hour away from Easter.  Everyone will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death after crucified on Good Friday.

May the lights of the resurrection of Christ shine on us.  Lead us to the brighter path. Amen!

“Hallelujah”

I’ve heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don’t really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Baby I have been here before
I know this room, I’ve walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you.
I’ve seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

There was a time when you let me know
What’s really going on below
But now you never show it to me, do you?
And remember when I moved in you
The holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Maybe there’s a God above
But all I’ve ever learned from love
Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you
It’s not a cry you can hear at night
It’s not somebody who has seen the light
It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

You say I took the name in vain
I don’t even know the name
But if I did, well, really, what’s it to you?
There’s a blaze of light in every word
It doesn’t matter which you heard
The holy or the broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

I did my best, it wasn’t much
I couldn’t feel, so I tried to touch
I’ve told the truth, I didn’t come to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I’ll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah

1st weekend of spring

Yes!  Today is the 1st weekend of spring. The weather seems pleasant with a little windy but still OK without jacket.  Though I must admit I love spring season very much besides the pollen allergy attack 😦

As usual we are spending quality time and did a little grocery shopping.  Then stop by ‘Bear Papa’s’ for their delicious cream puffs.  We ordered couple of special of the week with Strawberry filling.  Oh my, it was flavorful and rich with strawberry.  We both enjoy it very much.  What a treat to end with exhausted grocery shopping.

Habemus Papam = We have a new pope

After the the 5ive round votes.  The white smoke puff out from the chimney follow by cheers by thousands of people then bells ringing.   There were thousand of people waiting to witness the historic moment regardless the standing in the rain and cold.  The cardinal from Argentina Jorge Bergoglio elected to be a new pope with adopted name of Francis I.  He was 76 years old.  People describe him as frugal, humble and modernize.

It was a quick process to elected a new pope in second day.

The Papal Conclave – Day 1 = Black Smoke

Vatican city is an attracted for tourism spot.  However, with The Papal Conclave event taking place now and it flooded with media and additional tourism to witness the magic moment.

The 115 cardinals line up and walk into the Sistine Chapel  to cast their first vote for the new pope.  The elected pope will require 77 votes to win.

Daylight Saving Time Begins – Like or Hate it?

Daylight Saving Time is about to begins after tonight meaning we lost an hour sleep and etc.  To whom has digital clock and it will reset or forward an hour when the time hit tomorrow 2am.  However, people who have non digital clock then will need to adjust manually.  Somehow, I like DST because I have longer day time also means Spring is coming…

Well, whether like or hate on the DST it will happen anyway!
