Yes, I did it again!

Yes, I broke my own record again.   After I walked 29,304 steps last Wednesday and my peer gave me his record of 30,077 steps on the next day.  Screen Shot 2016-06-12 at 12.15.06 PMWell, I knew is hard to achieve but let me try it silently.  As I started walk and pump up the music then let’s walking.  After 3hrs or so and Yes!  I hit 30,550 steps.  Though I will consider this my higher record ever.  It is hard to get there is 3hrs.

I felt very exhausted after the walk.  I will back to 10,000 steps a day that should be normal.

Newest record #ever

Wow!  that is my newest record for me since I got the tracker device in April.  My average steps is about 12,000 steps a day  but 6/3 is an exception.  Well, the tracker will motivate me to break a new record.   It was hard yesterday because the weather temperature is scorching warm like 99 degrees outside.  Here are my top 5ive record.  Very proud of myself to get this far.  I think I will plan to the higher record for 30,000 steps to avoid over do it.

Keep walking…

obsessed to hit the record

Wow!  Since IScreen Shot 2016-05-01 at 11.34.23 AM started the IFIT device to track the steps that I made for a day.  I began to obsessed to bit the highest record.  Very proud to share that I’ve done 20,800 steps on 4/29.   Though it wasn’t easy but the end game is satisfying as I accomplish my goal.

I knew must be overdo to spike to 20,000 steps a day.  But I will try my best to hit at least one day a week to hit 20,000 steps.  After that long walk will go for green tea frappucino next then date night with love.

10k steps a day

I recently bought a IFIT a device that quietly track the steps, distance, calories burned, workouts and sleep.   Though in general ten thousands steps a day.  I wasn’t really into it until I started look at the statistic.  It keep push  me to hit the 10k steps though.   Love the data of deep and light sleep tracker.  Even tells you how many times you wake up during the night.

My weekend got less steps as I don’t have to run around campus for meetings.  Guess some what I like the device and my love like it as well.   Well, my pie got to walk more for sure.

I will do my best to achieve the 10k per day…

A very healthy breakfast of the week

Screenshot 2015-04-25 07.56.35Yes, I’ve had a very healthy breakfast this week.  Basically, yogurt, fruits and hot tea for breakfast.  However, I do missed those crispy bacon, potatoes tots, bagel, waffle, scramble eggs and more.  But I choose to be good this week. Hopefully, I can shave off a little weight to summer to be hot mama.

Healthy Kick-off challenge

Doing the “School Get Healthy Kick-off challenge!” with our IBOS team. Knowing me, going off sugar for any period of time is going to be incredibly hard. The reason I am sharing this is for my fellow in FBHQ to keep me honest and shame me if am cheating.

Its a 40 day program and here is how it works!

You may receive 1 point for completing each category per day: (max 4 per day)
• 1 point for every day you make it with no sugar. Sugar includes (but not limited to); maple syrup, agave nectar, coconut sugar, Splenda, equal, xylitol, stevia, evaporated cane juice, brown rice syrup, etc. Read your labels, because companies sneak sugar into products in ways you might not recognize. Honey is the only thing allowed because of those with seasonal allergies
• 1822: Americans consume 45 grams of sugar every five days, or the amount of sugar in a can of coke.
• 2012: Americans consume 756 grams of sugar every five days, or 130 POUNDS of sugar a year.
o This is probably the largest cause for third of our nation being obese and 75% of Americans being overweight. Not only does it contribute to Heart Disease (the number 1 killer in America), it causes so many other bodily issues in us and our children. Here is a cool website, watch the videos for more info:…/everything-you-need-to-know-a…/

• 1 point every day you complete 30 minutes of an elevated heart rate workout. This could include running, elliptical, biking, swimming, strength training, hiking, dancing, ect. But it needs to be intentional. Grocery shopping for 30 minutes does not count.

• 1 point for every day you drink 2 liters (68 oz.) of water. Our bodies are about 60% water so why not keep it hydrated. Get a bottle and make marks so you know where you are at. Studies show drinking water can increase energy, brain function, weight loss, skin health and much more. Two studies showed drinking 17oz. of water can temporarily boost metabolism by 24-30% (and who doesn’t want that!)

• 1 point for every day you complete 75 sit-ups, 50 squats or 25 push-ups. You don’t have to do all, choose one and rotate daily so you get strong all over.

Wish me luck…
